Originally from Mexico City, I currently teach and share Yoga practices on Banderas Bay. Understanding that everything evolves, it is my intention to incorporate, however, traditional fundamentals that lead the contemporary practice of Yoga to a third dimensional practice.
The constant internal observance of breath, mind and body movement are always linked. To see the constant effort, work, and practice of Yoga reflected in my students towards their daily life and that this itself leads to a higher quality of life and general awareness is truly one of the greatest thanks I have towards this profession. Let's share together this path that we are all going to the same place.

Hola! Soy Vanessa Grunwald y aparte de ser mamá de dos remolinos incansables, chofer de mama Uber de medio tiempo (solo que no me pagan) y chef amateur soy Coach de Crianza Consciente.

Mi camino a la Crianza Consciente comenzó desde que era muy chica. Recuerdo sentirme tan sola y fuera de lugar de niña. Mis papás peleaban muchísimo y tenían sus propios problemas que resolver, así es que yo quede mayormente sola en el proceso de descubrir cómo funcionaba el mundo, las relaciones, el amor propio y el auto entendimiento.

La búsqueda me llevó inicialmente a un camino espiritual y me metí de lleno al estudio de la Kabbalah, una sabiduría milenaria, aprendiendo y enseñando en Estados Unidos y el mundo de habla hispana. También lleve varios programas de valores y espiritualidad para niños donde nació mi pasión por darle a niños herramientas más profundas que pudieran ayudarles a cambiar su forma de ver los retos de la vida.

Cuando me convertí en mamá por segunda vez, comencé a buscar apoyo para superar muchas cosas que veía reflejadas de mi infancia, pero no encontraba nada que me diera esa claridad que buscaba. Así fue como encontré el Jai Institute for Parenting donde me certifiqué como Coach de Crianza Consciente en 2016.

Mi pasión es ayudar a mamás y papás a encontrar su integridad y verdad como padres. A conectar con su mayor potencial de quienes ELLOS quieren ser para sus hijos, pudiendo entender y superar las heridas de su infancia para construir relaciones verdaderamente trascendentes con sus hijos.

Una de mis misiones más claras de vida es proveer a padres un espacio libre de juicio y lleno de contención y entendimiento, acompañándolos a navegar el mundo tan transformativo que es ser criador de otros seres vivos.

When I was 18, I practiced it for some time, but it wasn't until several years later that I realized what a great transformation I was having. After starting my path in yoga, my life began to change little by little. Yoga is much more than standing on your head and performing complicated postures "Asanas", it is a path that guides you to your own discovery. Yoga motivates me to keep going, to continue in search of the best version of myself. What I try to share in each class I teach is to invite my students to connect with their own essence, to set intentions for their practice, to stay present and be mindful of the sensations that the practice brings, and to take a moment to express gratitude for the gifts in life.

Currently I am dedicated to teaching different styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin, and Restorative Yoga.

What I like most about teaching yoga is being able to share my philosophy of life with the people around me and transmit a little of what has helped me so much on my way to self-knowledge. I really enjoy seeing my students explore different movements, becoming aware of their body´s capabilities, which results in increased strength and flexibility and mental relaxation. It inspires me to see my students motivated to continue learning.

My Name is Alicia Huet, and I am originally from Puerto Vallarta. Before getting my certification, I practiced Yoga constantly for 4 years. Practicing yoga has always made me feel connected to a very special part of myself, where I can feel that time and the space disappears so that I can just be in the now, which is what made me stay on this path. Being a yoga teacher has transformed my life little by little, in a very subtle way, awakening a connection between my body, my senses the divine part that is inside each one of us, that makes us part of the whole. I got my certification in Vinyasa Yoga at Davanna Yoga with Anna Laurita in 2014. I originally took this certification with the intention of achieving a better understanding of my own practice as well as deepening it. However, I fell in love with the practice, and they say that if you love something, you should dedicate yourself to teaching it.

I love to guide, share and see the seed of yoga grow in people. I have been teaching yoga for 6 years, and I have shared this beautiful practice in many places and with many people. At the end of the day, my students are my best teachers. They inspire constant growth. The greatest thing that I have learned is that you have to cultivate yourself, your practice, and your connection with being.

The programs she designs include personalized holistic food treatment, body composition study, genetic study, medicinal herbs, and natural supplements (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc.).

Plants produce chemical components similar to those produced by our body, activating them and balancing the functioning of our systems and organs. Having a deep understanding and developing a sense of connection with the food we eat is an important step when it comes to healing the body, mind and soul.

I have been teaching yoga at luxury hotels in Puerto Vallarta for the past 8 years. I am also a Holistic Therapist. Life has challenges, and you have to take them, the first challenge, and perhaps the most important, was to make the decision to undertake the holistic path and leave behind my professional training as an Engineer. I was afraid to try something new, but I had to find the courage to follow what was in my heart. The truth is that I have been very fortunate since, and I have had many opportunities for development.

Being a Yoga Instructor for me is medicine, a discipline and a lifestyle, and also a great responsibility. It has strengthened me in all aspects. I have 7 years of experience teaching yoga. I teach people of all ages and I teach from gentle styles of Yoga to more vigorous practices, without losing the essence of the practice that is the connection of the mind, body and spirit.

The greatest challenges in life will always be the fight against one's own ego and the limitations and ideas that one creates in the mind. One must be in constant self-observation and transformation so as not to get stuck.

Knowing that the infinite source is within us and that the external world depends on the internal world, we need to have humility and gratitude for health and for the simple things in life, appreciate the ups and downs, and each time heal more and more.

I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. At a young age, I moved with my family to Mérida, Yucatán, where I began my career in sports. At that time, I participated in distance races and practiced weightlifting. I studied training theory and methodologies with the goal of better understanding the world of athletics. When I was 22, I learned about Buddhism and began combining meditation and exercise, transforming my athletic career into a spiritual path. Now I am studying Vedanta.

I currently teach Hatha and Vinyasa Krama Yoga classes. I really enjoy continuing to learn about anatomy, kinesiology, philosophy, Sanskrit and religion. I also continue to study Vedanta.

What I like most about teaching yoga is sharing my knowledge with students to help them learn new ways to move their bodies in a safe way, as well as to transmit ancient teachings in their purest form to contribute to humanity.

There is nothing easy, do not give up.

General Information
  • Check-In can be done individually or in groups.
  • It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing for the scheduled activities.
  • During group activities, please place your cell phone on silent mode in the rest bag.
  • Yoga classes last approximately 60 minutes and are suitable for all levels.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to modify the program with prior notice due to weather conditions.
  • Please feel free to use the hotel's facilities and amenities during the free time between activities and meals.
  • Listen to what your body needs, we recommend going to sleep at 10:30 pm, to sleep a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Average temperatures in Sierra Lago: Mornings 9 to 12 °C. Afternoons 22 to 24 °C. Nights 14 to 16 °C (In the early morning the temperature can drop to 3 °C).
Terms and Conditions

Rates are per Cabin, per night based on double occupancy with an All-Inclusive Plan in our Standard Cabin and are subject to change without prior notice. Rates already include taxes. Prepayment is required: the amount equivalent to one night's stay will be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid directly at the hotel on the day of arrival. For your security, cash payments are not accepted. The consumption of food and extra services, as well as direct reservations at the property, must be paid by credit and/or debit card. At check-in, a government-issued photo ID and a credit card are required to cover additional charges. We recommend you read our terms and conditions.
Extra cost activities: Spa Treatments, Private Transportation. This program is designed for adults, the minimum age to participate is 15 years old. Children under 15 years old are not accepted. The kids stay free promotion does not apply with this program.
